My vanlife days were far from what you'd call 'roughing it', but my camper didn't fall into the luxurious category either. I self converted my van, but many of the people I've spoken to over my years of covering the vanlife and camper van movement have cited one thing as being more important over everything else - comfort.

For many, they want a home away from home, a place that is as comfortable as their house so they don't have to make any sacrifices while on the go. If that's you, then Moblivetta have you covered. They've showcased their new Kea 80 and A-class K Yacht 80, both of which are available to check out down at the Birmingham NEC for the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome show which kicked off today.

If space is high up on your Wishlist, then the back garage storage areas will tick all of your boxes. Both campers have drop-down beds and U-shaped lounge spaces for communal gatherings (you'll always make friends while out on the road). There's also a drop down bed at the front too that also makes a double. Slumber party?

According to Practical Motorhome, the Kea 80 has a price of £89,995, while the A-class K Yacht 80 comes in at £109,995. And to be honest, I can't tell much of a difference between them, not enough to spend another £20k at any rate.

Overhead storage, diesel heaters, showers you could get lost in, swivel captains chairs, nice neutral and well-lit interiors - both campers are very similar. The K Yacht has a slightly bigger interior, but nothing that would revolutionise your stint living off grid in any way.

For my mind, £20K is a lot of money that you could use on enhancing your adventures, so I'd always go for the Kea 80 if it were my choice and just buy a few extra cushions and soft furnishings myself. If you want to check out these campers in greater detail, however, then head down to the NEC between now and the 22nd of February to see them in the flesh... metal... you know what I mean!
